Van’s Media Company has had an incredibly busy — and exciting — two weeks!

Last Saturday, Technical Director Myles Sturgeon and I traveled to Kokomo for the Elite Bridal Gala, where we connected with brides from across Indiana to talk about our wedding filmmaking services and interviewed dozens of local business owners (video coming soon 👀)!

This weekend, we produced a 16-hour live broadcast of the Jeff Choirs Xtreme Show Choir Showdown. From professional multi-microphone audio mixing to adaptive camera control and real-time archive exporting, the entire production was executed completely LIVE throughout the event.

I’ve also been having an amazing time collaborating with several Lafayette organizations to design and produce marketing campaigns unlike anything seen locally before.

And at the moment… I’m attempting to squeeze some very large packages through the front door — new equipment has officially arrived for our massive summer video project.

The Lafayette Bridal Expo was a huge success! Thank you to Louies Tux Shop for hosting the event. Michael Vander Plaats and Myles Sturgeon met hundreds of brides, and got the opportunity to showcase the beautiful wedding films only Van’s Media Company provides.

We’re officially 1 year into business, and in that short time we’ve made waves producing video for commercials, weddings, stage shows, live broadcasts, and much more. We’ve formed strong partnerships with local businesses, creatives, and organizations. Our reach only continues to grow across Indiana as we change digital marketing and event documentation in ways nobody has ever seen before.

Many more projects and partnerships are soon to follow, including massive productions to be released in the summer AND winter of 2026… something only friends of Van’s Media Company could pull off.
