By parodying mass media by exaggerating certain formal aspects inherent to our contemporary society, she tries to approach a wide scale of subjects in a multilayer way, likes to involve the viewer in a way that is sometimes physical and believes in the idea of function following form in a work.Her works are saturated with obviousness, mental inertia, clichés and bad jokes. They question the coerciveness that is derived from the more profound meaning and the superficial aesthetic appearance of an image. By using popular themes such as sexuality, family structure and violence, she makes works that can be seen as self-portraits. Sometimes they appear idiosyncratic and quirky, at other times, they seem typical by-products of American superabundance and marketing.Her works directly respond to the surrounding environment and uses everyday experiences from the artist as a starting point. Often these are framed instances that would go unnoticed in their original context. Aubrey Roadruck currently lives and works in Central Indiana .

First, I want to take a moment to say WELCOME to all of my new followers! 🤎

If you’re new here, hi! I’m Aubrey, the person behind the camera at Aubrey’s Artistic Images. I’m so glad you’re here! Whether you found my page through a friend, a recent session, or just happened across my work, I hope you’ll stick around. I love getting to meet new people and, even more, getting to capture the little pieces of life that become memories we keep forever. 📸✨

I also wanted to take a moment to share an important update regarding my 2026–2027 pricing and booking policies.

I’ll be honest — this isn’t a change I particularly enjoy making. I never want photography to feel like it’s all about money or policies. I want it to be about the experience, the memories, the laughter, the love, and creating images that you’ll look back on years from now.

However, as my photography continues to grow, I have to make sure I’m protecting the time I set aside for each of you. When I reserve a date for a session, wedding, or special event, I’m turning away other potential bookings for that same time.

Because of that, a 50% retainer will now be required to officially secure your date.

✨ A few important things to know:

• 50% is due at the time of booking to secure your date.
• The retainer is non-refundable.
• If something comes up, your retainer can be transferred to another available date or another session type, as long as the new date is open.
• Your date is not officially reserved until the retainer has been received.
• The remaining balance will be due according to the terms of your individual booking.

I truly appreciate everyone’s understanding as I continue to grow this little business of mine. 🤎

Every booking means more to me than simply putting another date on my calendar. You are trusting me with moments that can’t be recreated, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
