Public service announcement.

I have zero tolerance for photographers who steal images, re-edit another artist’s work, repost it without permission, or attempt to pass it off as their own. I don’t care if it’s called “inspiration,” “practice,” or “just for fun.” If it isn’t your image and you don’t have permission, it doesn’t belong to you.

Beyond the legal issues, it’s incredibly disrespectful to the photographer who created it and to the individuals photographed, who never consented to having their images downloaded, manipulated, and shared by strangers.

As artists, we should be lifting each other up, not profiting from each other’s work.

If I see it, I will unfollow and block without hesitation. I understand that some new photographers may not understand or know the laws but to avoid any conflict please make yourself aware.
