Hi, friends! I'm finishing up my Mama and Me Simple Sessions, and I am so happy with them! So many sweet connections and mamas loving on their babies.. My fav!

If you missed out on my simple sessions, and you were hoping to have some images made, heads up! Tomorrow Saturday, May 9, I am teaming up with Valley Farm for their Spring on the Farm Event from 10AM-4PM! I will host what I'm calling "Quick Snaps." I have a beautiful mantel plus florals to set up. These sessions are a quick 10 minutes and will result in 7 edited digital images. These are perfect for littles you want some updated photos of/with, a couple, maternity, headshots, graduation celebration etc! I am keeping the florals nice and neutral.

$75, 10 mins, 7 guaranteed digital images, option to purchase more.

**Important Announcements- Mama & Me & Cap and Gown Sessions**
Happy Spring Break friends! I'm slowly catching up on messages today, as I'm spending time with my daughter and family on her break. butttttt.. I did want to let you know about some important dates coming up for booking:

Opening TONIGHT Saturday the 4th at 6:00PM: Mama and Me Simple Sessions! Limited sessions available - these will be SO precious- We will be at the Venue at Cedar Grove Farms in Madisonville, TN, fields, sunshine, mountain views, and potentially a small set up in a greenhouse. Pure perfection. As always, the focus will be on you and your sweet baby or babies! Session Date: April 25th in the afternoon/evening. $160 for 20 minutes, 20 guaranteed images, option to purchase more. Mamas have my heart- as one myself, I know how much it takes for us to get behind the camera. I want YOU in the these, mama! Mama and Me simple sessions are my most cost effective family sessions of the whole year... These usually sell out the first night of posting. Let me capture your families sweet season of life right now, sweet friends.

Also opening TONIGHT Saturday the 4th at 6:00PM- Class of 2026- it's almost graduation time! Cap and Gown Simple Sessions! This is for any upcoming graduating senior or kindergartener. Gowns will not be provided, but if you need one, reach out and let me know. I might have connections! Date: April 23rd in Vonore, TN. Sessions will be 15 minutes, guaranteed 20 images, option to purchase more. Cost: $150. Let's capture this fleeting season! Images will be delivered by April 29th for Seniors.

A signed contract and a nonrefundable $100 deposit is required for booking.

SQHS friends - Tomorrow, 03/18 at 7:00PMEST, I'm officially opening my Prom sessions on April 18 at a new private location! Sessions will be 20 minutes and $160. Each session slot is meant for one couple or individual. Groups will have to book multiple slots. A signed digital contract and non-refundable $100 deposit will be required for booking each session. These typical sell out pretty quickly - I'm so excited for another year of working with these beautiful prom goers! See you at the booking link tomorrow at 7:00PM. I’m wrapping up all of my 2025 weddings with a heart filled with SO much gratitude. Still after years and years in this business, I can’t believe this is my job! The way that I get to serve others and love them, by capturing their most special moments, making a covenant and a vow to their person... Still pinching myself!

Kiri and Kaden’s day was one that will forever be etched on my heart. It was a rainy Fall day, with the East TN colors shining. It rained, and rained, and…. Rained some more. By any account, most couples would be a little bummed, but they were steadfast, and happy as could be! I don’t think a smile left their faces all day. Ramble Creek’s perfect indoor ceremony plan shined and allowed for the most perfect location for portraits before their gorgeous indoor ceremony. Right after the ceremony, the skies cleared just enough for dreamy outdoor portraits and an incredible rainbow to form above the newlywed’s heads. They ate, danced and truly celebrated with their family and friends. Truly an incredible day. Thank you for trusting me to capture your great love!

Sunshine, sunshine! Oh how I’ve missed you! Anyone else truly feel more energized and “with it” when the sun is out? I have so enjoyed my family this winter, but so thankful for the sunshine and warm weather we have right now.

I’m dreaming of sessions to come and those not too long ago in weather like this. I’m immediately taken back to the Ogle family session in the Summer. Katie had a specific desire of capturing her family on their property, and I am so thankful and honored she asked me to document her loves. Katie has such a creative eye as a photographer herself, and I am so grateful she told me her thoughts and allowed me to run wild with it! This is what connection and family photos are all about… Playing, enjoying each other and letting the magic unfold. Still proud of this one! Sunrise sessions are becoming some of my favorites, especially in the Summer. You absolutely cannot beat the lower temperatures and that dreamy soft light!

I can’t help but look forward in excitement with all of the wonderful families I am photographing and weddings I am capturing this Spring and Summer. My books are officially open for all session types for booking, and I am SO thankful to be seeing those filled. Every year, I am more and more thankful for the families and couples that trust me with their biggest moments.

What’s your favorite snow day activity to do with your littles? We love to pile up and watch movies, eat homemade cookies, drink coffee/hot chocolate and visit the grandparents when we can get out. What do you do with your littles at home to avoid constant screens?

I hoping we can bundle up and paint some snow/ice later to get outside.
