There’s something about the end of August that just makes senior season feel in full swing!!

Maybe it’s Friday night lights and high school football kicking off all over Knoxville. 🏈

Macy will be twirling at Karns High School tonight, and what a great night to share these photos with you all! She is just beautiful, and we had the best time planning her downtown looks as well as the garden vibe. Can you believe these sunflowers??!! 🌻

Macy is a rep this year, and she is already SO good at posing. I can’t imagine what else we’ll get to create this year!!

I LOVE senior guy sessions—and I knew this one was going to be good.

I had photographed Andrew’s brother a couple of years ago, so I already knew his mom was going to have everything perfectly prepared. 😉 She told me Andrew really loved the outdoors, and I wanted the session to feel like him—not just a collection of nice pictures.

We started with a classic suit and a checked shirt in an outdoor setting, then ended with Andrew in his comfortable athletic clothes, fishing pole in hand. 🎣

Make sure you swipe all the way to the end because those last few images might be my favorites.

Every shot feels like Andrew, his personality, and the things he loves.
Moms guys need senior photos too ☺️

Your amazing mom helped us have it all ready to go, even in the middle of a crazy busy week with TWO brothers turning 16! 🎉
It was so much fun, and you are just adorable! I loved getting to photograph you!

My favorite part of senior photography will always be the people. 💗

But right behind that? Light + location.

Knowing what to look for in a location, how the light is falling, and how the two work together can completely change the final image.

This is why I’m always looking around—even when I’m not shooting. I’m noticing the light, the trees, the grass, the sky…thinking about how I could use it.

Because sometimes the “location” doesn’t look like much at all until you find the right light.

And then…this happens. ☀️

Caroline goes to Farragut, is a dancer, and one of my reps this year—and she is just the cutest! 💕

Her mom reached out to me about her senior pictures, and then we realized I actually knew her mom when she was in college. Love that!

Caroline brings all the fun. She is funny, spunky, and the best poser ever. Being a dancer, she just seemed to know exactly what to do—point those toes, give me the perfect smile, and somehow make every pose look effortless. I’m pretty sure she was born knowing how to pose! 💃🏻

We had so much fun during her session, and I’m SO glad we managed to dodge those storms!

Julianna is a rep this year and we already LOVE doing photo shoots together! She is such a natural in front of the camera and makes my job way too easy! ☺️❤️

We had so much fun working together on her outfits. She found some great pieces from fun shops and Nuuly (which is SUCH a good idea for seniors!), and she has such great style that she knew exactly what she wanted. I love how these colors look with her coloring and how everything just feels so perfectly “Julianna.”

And you know I love heading downtown! It gives us so many different backgrounds and lets us get completely different looks all in one session.

I can’t believe school starts this week! 😳 If you still need to get your senior pictures scheduled, I have a few September dates left, but they are filling up FAST. So don’t wait!

I can’t wait to photograph this girl many more times this year! 💗

Sophia is beautiful inside and out, and it was such a joy getting to photograph her senior session! 🤍

As one of my senior reps this year, she used my Style Guide and Shop My Store to help choose outfits, and they couldn’t have been more perfect. That geometric dress was so much fun, and you can never go wrong with a timeless white dress.

Her little sister kept us laughing all evening by bringing fans, fun props, and making hilarious faces in the background. 😂 Meanwhile, her mom had everything perfectly steamed and organized—and somehow even managed to attend a webinar during the session! Moms are superheroes.

From the beautiful outfits to all the laughs, it was such a fun, relaxed, and successful evening. I can’t wait to photograph Sophia again this year!

Joli and I talked all about the colors that would make her shine… and I’d say we nailed it!
💙💚❤️

Before her session, I looked through her Instagram and helped her narrow down some color choices. Then she and her mom found this gorgeous blue dress and the perfect green top while shopping in Maryland. These colors absolutely pop and make her beautiful blue eyes and gorgeous smile stand out even more.

And of course… the red dress was a showstopper too! ❤️

I’m so excited that Joli is one of my senior reps this year because it means I get to photograph her several more times! She’ll be a senior at West this year and truly couldn’t be any sweeter.

I can’t wait to keep getting to know you this year, Joli!
