I loved being a part of these two goofballs' engagement session! It turned into a tiny bit of a sufferfest at the end, but we made up for it by playing with twinkle lights! We expected it to rain that night, so they had brought a clear umbrella just in case. Turns out the day was clear and cold, but since we had the prop...we had to use it. Mikaela and I met when she graciously allowed me to practice my indoor action shots before a big gig last November, and when she needed someone to take some pretty shots of her doing awesome things, I'm so grateful she came to me! We had such fun with this shoot! We laughed a whole lot and goofed off and we didn't even have to find a gym.
The best thing about having a personal trainer like Mikaela is that she knows how to work with what you need. I'm so glad we picked the Alcoa Greenway for this shoot, because I think it really showcases not only how amazing Mikalea is, but how much you can do in a public space, no membership fee required. Thanks, Pinkyfit321 for trusting me with this!

We got surprised with a sleeting, nasty day on our scheduled shoot, and while these Wisconsinites aren't strangers to sub-freezing temperatures, that's not why they came down. So we piled 7 friends in my tiny house with Thai takeout, had a slumber party, and woke the next morning to a perfectly sunny east Tennessee morning. We leisurely enjoyed coffee at Vienna Coffee in Maryville, TN, and then wandered around the greenway and took some pretty sweet photos.
