I know that this time of 2020 can be stressful and unnerving. Jobs are being paused, social distancing is recommended, and schools are being closed.
Weddings planned as far out as two years in advance are being postponed or cancelled, leaving upcoming brides and grooms in a difficult position.
I am here to say if you are in this situation or know a family/friend who is, I want you to know I am still offering all of my services. Even though large gatherings are not recommended, eloping can easily be done with you, your person, and me. You still have that white dress waiting to be worn. We still have mountains and valleys to run through. Vows can be said at anytime or anywhere. Love can STILL be celebrating. In fact, I encourage it. This may not be traditional, however, it can still be magical. So maybe smoke bombs, motorcycles, and a crap ton of confetti isn't you thing. BUT celebrating your love and commitment to one another, whether it is on mountains or in a courthouse, is definitely something I long to be apart of. Let's focus on the things that we can control. Celebrating your love.

Macie's senior session was one of a kind. Not only was the location super stunning, Macie was made to be in front of the camera. Is it just me or have seniors gotten more and more gorgeous since I was last in high school?

I’ve been on a small trip to Nashville this week and everything was so different. The town in some places were unrecognizable. It was an out of body experience. Seeing photos or hearing about the tornado aftermath on the news, it doesn’t truly compare to the destruction that my eyes witnessed for 5 days. I came home to my city in shambles, but what tugs at my heart strings the most was the community and unity of the people. The camaraderie of volunteers moving trees, repairing homes, and loving on one another in this time of tragedy was so moving to be apart of. I call this city home. It’s where I grew up. It’s where I’ll settle down my roots. I believe in Nashville & I want to help. I want to do more. If you personally know anyone who lost memorable photos, please reach out to me. I know memories can’t be replaced, but new ones can be created. I’d love to gift a couple or family with a session come June as a surprise gift. My dms are opens to anyone who want to volunteer friends/families for a couple or family session who deserves this as a gift. I (still) believe in Nashville. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ @ Nash, Tennessee

I seriously teared up when I snapped these photos. Like tears in my eyes, heart pounding outta my chest, smiling so wide when I tapped the back button to view what the camera caught. Idk man. If I’m being honest, it was the first time I felt pure joy in a longggg time without a reason attached to it. Maybe it was my couple, who just gave me such vibrant energy. Maybe it was the dress or the sunshine or the hike. Maybe sometimes random good things align and all work together. Regardless, it was joy I felt & after a year of not feeling anything, feeling JOY was such an out of body experience. I felt in my element. I felt like in that moment I was walking into my purpose: I realized the big picture of you what I should be doing. What I have dreamed about since being little. Photographer. I realized that me and my camera are here on this earth to tell lovers stories. To share my truths. To document memories. Most importantly, to honor love. My purpose in photography is to honor love. So I realized this the other day & well, I have felt really dang good since. ⚡️🖤 @ Pacific Northwest

It felt like the snow danced & swirled around the newly weds as if they were also guest at this intimate wedding.
Vows were said on top of a mountain nestled in the smokies with only 20 close family & friends.
Tears were shed as the groom saw his beautiful bride come down the isle in a fitted white gown.
The first dance was a celebration with only the bride and groom in a open dance floor while “let’s get married” blasted through the speakers.
It’s hard to put into words how raw, emotional, & truly intimate this day was. To sum it all up, be intentional with HOW you choose to marry your best friend. Whether 200 people or 20, let the day be focused on you two only & the love you share together. @ The Great Smoky Mountains

If I’m being completely honest with you... my brain has been mush and dazed from how quickly my photography business is growing during this season. There are so many messages, sessions, and inquiries coming from everywhere that it’s been a tad bit insane trying to keep up with demand.
THIS IS A GOOD THING. It is the beginning of seeing all of my hard work in the slow season pay off & I am so dang thankful for that. Sometimes I can’t believe that my PASSION is my full time job.
I’m still learning what it is like to wear so many hats at the same time. Still learning what it is like to be a business owner. Be a creator. Be my own boss.
Any other humans here feel like 2020 has taken them by storm, but in the very best way possible so far?? Like it hurts, but feels so dang good at the same time?? My hand is up with you, don’t worry 🙋🏾‍♀️

You don’t have to go to super far to have the perfect elopement or wedding if you don’t want to. There are SO many places in Tennessee that can give you that “destination” feel without the travel expenses! 2020 has already been SO good to me with weddings & elopements. I’ve added so many bride to be’s in January & I’d LOVE to be apart of your special day. Look at my website below to see if I can help celebrate your special day!

So I heard you want to elope?
Weddings are suppose to be every girls dream. The white dress. The 200+ guest. Planning every detail a year or so in advance. It’s your happily ever after... or is it?
I’m here to tell you that if it’s not your thing, THAT IS OKAY. Lets do this your way. With you & your person only. In whatever color dress makes you feel damn good. While we climb mountains or kiss during sunsets.
It’s okay to do something different. To do something untraditional. To do something else that still symbolizes your love & commitment to your person. I have my bags packed & i am ready. To be apart of your love. To be apart of your forever. To be apart of your special day. The way you want it. On your terms, by your rules.
Let’s do the damn thing. @ Knoxville, Tennessee
