Wild Blossom Photography

Wild Blossom Photography Carol Lee Stephens is a natural-light, lifestyle portrait photographer based in Knoxville On this trip, I journeyed to a place where wild things are everywhere.

Yellowstone, Montana: September 8, 2012
Birthplace of Wild Blossom Photography

Montana. We would see wild bears, wild elk, wild moose with their wild twin babies, and would walk by wild rivers. We saw wild flowers, everywhere. This image was captivating to me. The flowers grew/thrived right next to something so dangerous, something wild. Boiling geyser water. Out of control. It was WILD to me tha

t they would BLOSSOM in this type of environment. The birth of my photography business name. I had thrown around some names for my business, but this one came after I finished editing my cousin's maternity session. That was something WILD too. Imagine: 8 months pregnant. On a horse. Ba****ck. It was my wild suggestion. She was wild enough (some would say crazy) to actually let me photograph her up there. The start of my photography business has been wild. It is wild to see how each image contains a story. There is something dangerously wild about those blossoms in Montana. And there is something wildly amazing what blooms in my heart when I am behind my lens. Thank you for creativity and vision blossoming deep in my heart while in the wildness of Yellowstone & thank you God for blossoming deep into the wildness of my heart. Carol Lee Stephens is a natural-light, lifestyle portrait photographer based in Knoxville and the surrounding areas. Born and raised in Tennessee, avid traveler, former middle school teacher, Young Life leader and now take on the full-time job as a stay-at-home mama to three sweet kiddos. There is something perfectly imperfect about the simplicity of natural, organic, candid moments. I enjoy capturing moments of real authenticity and joy. My goal is to allow sessions to unfold naturally which yields images of raw, genuine emotion. All the while easing the mind of a stressed mama, making grumbling teenagers laugh or babies giggle, becoming friends with my clients, and getting photographs of your family you will cherish a lifetime. For information on what to expect for your shoot, please contact me. I would love the opportunity to steal away for an morning or afternoon to capture your moments. Priviledged, blessed and thankful I get to do what I love. Wild Blossom Photography

✨💫 Celebrating 15 years!! ✨💫
To be by your side, to fight for what we vowed to be faithful to, to honor, to enjoy, to not give up, to endure, to cherish, to love and be loved, to know and be known, to talk in the late night and fall asleep mid-sentence, to watch me fall asleep on the couch 5 minutes into a movie, to watch you lose your keys or wallet for the millionth time, to love this life we are building, our children we are entrusted, and do it alongside of you…I’m so thankful we hang on. I’m thankful for your love and for His. He holds this all together and for 15 years it’s been the best gift!

Wild Blossom Photography wouldn’t be what it is without this strong support beside me!

Happy Anniversary babe!

Merriest of Christmases to you and yours!

I wrapped up a year of sessions and I am so thankful for each family, company and school that entrusted me to capture your people. Taking a small break and then back at it January 2. I love the slow embrace of time to soak up the stillness, listening to the fire crackle, the glow of the Christmas lights, the excitement and anticipation for my husband and kids to open their presents, all while remembering why. The humble entrance. The dirty stall. God made his dwelling among us. And oh how it forever changed my life. I pray this season slows just enough for you to soak in His goodness and know truly He is God.

Merry Christmas, friends!
