Where can I even begin with these photos? What a beautiful well thought out and planned event? Andrea was one of the best brides I've ever encountered, she was funny, beautiful and a delightful person to follow around on a rainy Sunday. The weather held out long enough for a quick and sweet ceremony and some great photos, (more soon), but for now, here's a couple screenshots of what I'm working on..

I've been photographing for a long time and have never done a session in the fog, but it was super awesome photographing Amelia and her husband yesterday. To add to it, she's a photographer and that's ALWAYS hard to photograph another photographer!!! But she is a great model too!

Between rain and cold, you never know what to expect out of the weather in December... but these guys were troopers! And look how happy and glowing she is! What a beautiful couple, they're about to have so much fun with their little one!

One of the biggest questions I get about photography is... location.... Honestly, most of my favorite photos were taken in people's homes. I LOVE photographing on location and in homes. When the weather didn't cooperate for this session, we moved it indoors to their home. Bribed her daughter with ice cream and I LOVE the results... So when you're planning a location if it rains... just roll with it and move it inside.

How stinking cute is this little blondie? She earned her ice cream being a ham! :)

Sometimes, thanksgiving is....

Today, we watched the parade, snuggled with puppies, fed the chickens and thanked them for the eggs, then we had pizza and cuddled up in bed. It’s almost a “tradition” to celebrate on the weekend so everyone can make it to dinner... it’s just our way of being “thankful” and it works for us.
