👀 Something new for commercial and freelance photographers in Knoxville 👀

Knox Photo Talk is a new gathering for freelance, commercial, and creative photographers to share work, talk process, swap ideas, and meet other people making interesting things in this city.

Join us on Thursday, April 23 for the first meetup featuring Knoxville photographers, Charlie Brooks and .

Charlie will share a brief history of the building at 800 Luttrell, work from his years running Charles Brooks Photography, early images that shaped his path, and a current project that still keeps him excited about making new work.

Bruce will take us back in time with two classic panoramic film cameras, including one from the early 1930s, and share images and perspective from working outside the usual digital flow.

Come hang out, see inspiring work, hear a few great stories, and meet other photographers doing interesting things around Knoxville. Images will be projected on the c*c wall, Bruce will have cameras on display, and drinks and lite bites will be provided.

From creating an outdoor room for her personal brand session to crafting interiors that balance bold color, whimsy, and intention, Lucky designs with care, curiosity, and a deep understanding of how spaces make us feel.
 
She’s recently become a Science in Design® Certified Designer ( time to celebrate 🙌 ) and will be sharing her expertise at later this month on the panel for When Design Heals - exploring how thoughtful interiors can support health and well-being. 🌿

I recently had the chance to photograph updated headshots for the fwkcc team - the awesome folks who help build and support our vibrant business community. The team was ready for a fresh look, and I was excited to help capture it!

Even though it was a team session, each person had individualized time — from a prep call to talk through what to wear, to the photo session itself, to reviewing images and requesting edits.

The result? Everyone walked away with a headshot they were excited to use.
