Mom & Dad coming soon… 🤍

Life has been so full! This pregnancy and baby boy have truly been such a blessing. As we get ready to welcome our baby, I’ll be stepping into maternity leave from February 1st–May 4th to soak in this sweet season.

I’m still currently booking:
• Fall weddings (September–November) — with just a few spots remaining
• Portrait, Branding, Family, & Newborn sessions from July–November

This season has been a gentle reminder of what truly matters. As we prepare our home and hearts for a baby in the coming months, I’ve had to remind myself often not to let preparation steal my presence. It’s so easy to focus on all that needs to be done and miss the sweetness of the season God has placed right in front of us.

I encourage my brides in the same way. Planning matters, details matter, but your wedding day is a symbol, not the destination. The heart of it all is the covenant you’re stepping into. When the focus stays on the marriage rather than the plans, everything else finds its proper place.

Engagement seasons are for such a short amount of time, but such a meaningful pause in the midst of it all. A chance to slow down, give thanks for this chapter, and to preserve this time before marriage. So if you are struggling today in the midst of planning I hope this post reaches you. Maybe send this to a bride that needs to hear this today as a gentle reminder to pause. Or someone who just got engaged and feels the urge constantly be planning for this big day. Your wedding day will come and it will be the most beautiful day because you are marrying the love of your life. Everything else is just the cherry on top!

Sydney and Thomas were married on the loveliest fall day at Cherokee Country Club, surrounded by the people who adore them and a view that made the whole evening feel golden. Their love for the Lord is at the very center of their relationship, and you can feel it in every moment, drom the way they cherish one another to the way their families celebrate so wholeheartedly.

The details were stunning… overflowing florals, the dreamiest reception space, and even custom merch tossed from the stage that had everyone cheering. It was beautiful, fun, and full of meaning.

This was my last wedding before we welcome our baby boy in the spring, and I couldn’t have imagined a sweeter couple to close the season with. What a joy it was to capture this day. 🤍

We are so excited to share we are expecting a baby boy this Spring! A season of life we have been longing to enter is here. Our hearts are overflowing with thankfulness and praise to the Lord as we welcome this little one to our family! 💙🤍

It’s hard to put into words how special this session was. Just a few weeks ago, we were celebrating the sweet anticipation of baby Callum and today, I got to photograph his newborn session. It has been such a joy capturing every milestone for these friends of mine. Can’t wait to share Callum’s newborn session! He is precious!

Katherine and Jacob said “I do” beneath the soaring arches of Lee University’s chapel. The day was filled with garden party florals, paper parasols, and the timeless charm of the South.

But the most meaningful moment came quietly after the ceremony, when they slipped back inside to share private vows, just the two of them. A tender pause in a beautiful day, rooted in faith and forever promises.
