These two had a vision for their day. They had a vision for the photos. They completely trusted me to make it happen and you guys, I LOVE what we got today. This is just a glimpse into the gorgeousness that will be there gallery.

Very excited about our perfectly timed sunset. Very excited about their vintage car night shots (not sneak peeked here). Very excited for their twinkly light private dance.

They made this day magical, and everyone there could feel it.

Happiest wedding day to Rebekah Epperly and David Abernathy !! Cheers to you for picking the first day of the year that it actually felt like fall!!

At the end of the night, David was waiting on Rebekah to do their last dance. I asked him where they were honeymooning and if he was excited. He said “I would be excited to go anywhere with her because she is my home, she is my person” and he didn’t say it for a crowd, or for the pastor… he was just talking to lil ole me. It was precious. And reiterated what everyone was saying all day about how much David adores Rebekah.

This day was perfect. Could not have been better!!

With up to a 100% chance of rain in the forecast, we prepared for anything. Somehow, the showers passed right by Ajalyn and Sawyer’s wedding day though! They enjoyed their dream outdoor ceremony, beautiful portraits around Adaline Acres, and a celebration beneath the pavilion.

From the bridesmaids surprising Sawyer with hilarious fist-bump routines during the processional to his heartfelt, unprompted speech about his new wife at the end of the reception, this day was filled with so much personality, laughter, and love.

Ajalyn and Sawyer, you two are truly something special. It was such a joy to photograph your beautiful day! I adore you, I adore your family, and I already miss you all!

Marissa and Paul’s wedding day was bursting with laughter, hugs, happy tears, and so much love.

After taking their engagement photos at Volunteer Landing (you can see a couple here, too) earlier that week, we traveled to Crossville for their beautiful celebration on Paul’s brother’s family farm. The rain followed us most of the way from Knoxville and continued throughout the morning, but right when we needed to head outside, it stopped and stayed away!

With a green pond, a barn on the hill, colorful fields, and the first red leaves of the season, this wedding was an absolute dream to photograph. I’m so excited to finally share it on the blog!

The newest Meehans.

My third and final wedding for this family and it could make me cry. I love them dearly and cannot imagine a wedding year without them.

Today was magical. And I’ve never seen a bride smile like the gorgeous ajalyn or a groom so smitten as sawyermeehan . There is no doubt they were destined to be each other’s person. Absolutely obsessed with these few sneaks! More to come later this week!!

The best family photos aren’t always the ones where everyone is looking at the camera. Sometimes, they’re the ones where everyone is laughing so hard they can barely look at the camera.

The Beeson family reminds me so much of my own. Raquel & Garrett are playful parents. The picking-up, chasing, tickling, tossing-kids-in-the-air kind, and it makes photographing Camilla & Gabe so much fun.

I photographed Raquel & Garrett’s wedding years ago, and now, I get to watch their babies grow right in front of my camera.

Savannah & Chase officially have two under two!

I photographed these two on their wedding day a few years ago, and now, I get to photograph them at home with their two sweet boys. How does time move this fast?!

Big brother Bodie is only 18 months old (although I totally thought he was two because he’s such a big boy), and his whole world just changed overnight. But he handled it like a champ giving Cannon kisses, hugs, and plenty of big brother love.

And Cannon? An absolute dream for his newborn session. Add in the cutest little stuffies Savannah had for his photos, and I was completely obsessed.

Also, the name Cannon?! Possibly my favorite baby name yet. I’m not biased or anything.

I’ve photographed the Clark family more than 8 times over the years, and somehow, we’re already celebrating Tanner being 6 months old!

I’m happy to report that Tanner is officially the chillest little guy. A full 180 from his big sister Cadence as a baby. But let me tell you, Cadence has grown into the sweetest big sister. She could not stop kissing Tanner, loving on him, and making sure he knew she was right there beside him. At one point, she was holding her baby brother, had the pup around the neck, and was smiling perfectly at my camera.

I’ve watched Kari & Stefan get married, welcome two babies, build two houses, and walk through so many seasons of life together. And the next time I photograph them, Tanner will be one!

So thankful for families who keep inviting me back year after year.

A Friday wedding, a room full of Irish accents, and a rainbow David and Pauline didn’t even know was behind them.

September brought record heat to East Tennessee, but even in his black three-piece suit, David chose the mountain backdrop for portraits because he knew Pauline would love it. That little moment says so much about the care they showed each other all day.

Their celebration at The Trillium was full of Irish traditions, sweet toasts from Pauline’s children, and so much laughter. Head to the blog for more from their joyful day!
