We finished off the week with a Pin Oak on a beautiful day! These trees are vigorous and produce a lot of small dead branches. The last time we pruned this tree was 4 years ago.

We took down a couple of White Pines this week so that a customer could build a bigger garage for his boats. Luke's skills are coming along and he got to fall the big trees near expensive things.

We pruned a few Pin Oaks last week and spent a few days removing trees and thinning some woods around this customers house. It was great to get everything done despite the rain.

Is it cake or compost? We've been working on making our own soil amendments for the past couple of years. Last week we installed some evergreens to screen the view in a customers back yard and were able to use our own amendments for the first time! We installed 3 American Hollies and 2 Cedars with a few Schip Laurels to help fill in the background.

We worked with a beautiful Red Oak this week. It didn't need much, we just knocked out the hazardous deadwood and put some wood chips around it.
