Hey, friends. I know, it's been a *minute* since I've been active here. Thanks for hanging in with me!

Here's a quick synopsis of the past year: grinding to wrap up grad school, actually wrapping up grad school, flying to Mexico to celebrate, getting covid on the return flight (boo!), getting over that, driving to SC to celebrate my grandmother's 92nd birthday, driving back...and that leads us to today.

In between all that, I've had some really amazing clients who were not only fun to work with but exceptionally kind. Like this high school grad, who's bound for a full-ride scholarship at a four-year university this fall. 🙌 Way to go, J!

I got to work with this exceptional grad and his family two weekends in a row! More comin soon. 😊

I can still remember driving to my high school graduation. Safety Dance was playing on the radio. You know the one. "You can dance if you wannu, you can leave your friends behind..."

*Prep work*

I love the behind the scenes part of photographing weddings. It's incredibly rewarding to sneak around and photograph folks interacting before the big event. These are important moments that they may otherwise forget. These smaller instances could get drowned out by the grander moments if they aren't captured. But I think these are important, too.

Cheers to Kerrie and Brad, who both had awesome families and friends supporting them behind the scenes!

Oh, hey! It's me. I'm still alive! 👋🏻

I've been absent from social media for quite a while because life is busy (ie: I started grad school in August).

So I've been focused on serving my clients and school work and regular work ... which doesn't leave much time for Instagram. 🙃

But be assured I'm still trucking behind the scenes!
