The fun isn't just in the final shot—it’s the rush of the race against time, the challenge of locking in the right exposure before the colors shift, and capturing a fleeting masterpiece that will never look quite the same way twice.

And the beauty? That’s simple: pure, undeniable nature showing off. There’s nothing quite like watching the world paint itself. 🎨✨

🍂✨ Chasing the beauty of the season, one frame at a time.
From rustic barns tucked away in autumn woods to breathtaking skies painted with color, nature always has a story to tell. 🍁🌅

A little of everything this past week!

From spinning star trails beneath the night sky to rustic country barns and the brilliant colors of fall, it's been a week full of beautiful moments behind the camera. Every shot tells a different story, and I'm loving capturing them all.

Chasing the last light of the day.

When the sun dips below the horizon and the clouds catch fire, it’s a reminder that even endings can be beautiful. Sometimes, all you need to do is stop, look up, and witness the moment.

Some mornings don’t need a reason to stop and look.
Just light, water, clouds, and a few quiet minutes to take it all in.
Beyond the Moment.

Two sides of the wild.
From chasing stars across the night sky to finding beauty in the smallest moments right here on Earth.
There’s always something worth stopping for.

Three moments. One place. Three completely different kinds of light.
Morning mist.
Moonlight beneath the stars.
And the sun going down through the fields.
Photography has a funny way of reminding me that the landscape is never really the same twice.

SEPTEMBER — A MONTH BEHIND THE LENS
Five photographs. Five completely different moments.
A butterfly resting among the wildflowers.
A galaxy more than 2 million light-years away.
Balloons drifting through the evening sky.
The sun disappearing behind the trees.
And an aircraft passing overhead.
At first glance, these photographs don't seem to have much in common.
But that's what I love about photography.
It's not always about having a particular subject in mind. Sometimes it's about simply being there when something makes you stop and look.
From the smallest details in nature to galaxies so distant we can barely comprehend their scale, there's always something happening around us.
Look closer.
Look farther.
Keep wandering.
Because you never really know what you'll find when you do

Where the Night Turns
Last night I found myself standing in the darkness, watching the stars make their slow journey across the sky.
Hundreds of individual frames, hours of waiting, and a whole lot of mosquitoes later… this is what was left behind.
The stars were moving exactly as they have for millions of years. The causeway below kept carrying people through the night, the water quietly reflected the lights, and for a few hours I was lucky enough to just stand there and watch it all happen.
That's one of the things I love about photographing the night.
Everything gets quieter.
The distractions fade away.
And for a little while, you're reminded just how small our place is beneath all of this.
I took a little break from social media this past week. Sometimes you just need to step away, recharge, and go make photographs instead of worrying about posting them.
So… I'm back. And apparently I brought the stars with me

Last night, I stood out in the heat, getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, waiting in the darkness for the stars to reveal themselves.
And then they did.
In those moments, all the little distractions disappear. The heat, the mosquitoes, the waiting, the discomfort—all of it fades away when you look up and realize you're watching something that has been moving across that sky for millions of years.
Stars, planets, distant galaxies… all continuing their journey through the universe whether we're here to see them or not.
