Oh my goodness!! This was unexpected as I was watching the F-35s leave!!😍
This is a Boeing F/A-18 Hornet, specifically a VX-23 "Salty Dogs" variant.It is a twin-engine, supersonic, all-weather fighter and attack aircraft.The "Salty Dogs" squadron (VX-23) is a U.S. Navy Air Test and Evaluation Squadron.These aircraft are used for testing new technologies and quiet sonic boom programs. And as for the F-15 Eagle if you know then you know.😉
