There is a pair of them that sit in this tree overlooking the Merrimack River everyday close to the Dracut/ Lowell line.

Beautiful birds, and I am so happy to see them making a strong comeback!

Yesterday just after sunrise I watched a Female Common Eider diving for Mussels off the coast of Maine. This Herring Gull was waiting to try to steal her bounty.

She made out in the end and swam away with her catch!

Quick Sunrise this morning before the rain moved in.

From Rocky Beach in Kittery Point.

Walked out there at 4:45am, 45 minutes before Sunrise and there was absolutely no one around.

Always great to get out to witness the dawn of a new day!
