This is what happens when the sunset decides to show off. 😂

Lunaris was built for atmosphere, but I didn’t expect every location to have its own opinion about how she should look.

Here, the landscape absolutely won.

The light did most of the work on this one. 🌅

I just had to put Lunaris in it.

One gown, a completely different landscape, and suddenly the whole character feels different.

Forest Lunaris or desert Lunaris?

There’s something about seeing the gown from behind that makes the whole silhouette feel different.

The train, the layers, the movement of the fabric through the trees.

This is the part of costume design I love most: building something that changes depending on how you look at it.

And then the forest started glowing. 💜

This is where Lunaris gets a little less grounded and a lot more magical.

I love taking something that was physically built in the studio and placing it into a world that feels like it could have been built around her.

Magic or realism? Which version of Lunaris do you prefer?

There’s a reason I keep coming back to the silhouette.

Before you notice the embroidery, the lace, or the tiny details, you notice the shape.

Where the fabric falls.
Where it expands.
What moves when she does.

That foundation is what makes all the little details matter.

What makes a costume memorable to you: the silhouette or the details?

Even Lunaris needs a day off. 😂

Not every image has to be dramatic.

Sometimes the character gets to be quiet. To rest. To exist somewhere beautiful without performing for the camera.

I think those moments matter too.

If you could spend one night anywhere in Lunaris’s world, where would you sleep? 🌙

Sometimes the character doesn’t need to fill the frame.

Sometimes the world around her is the point.

This one makes Lunaris feel very small against the landscape, and somehow that makes her feel bigger.

Would you want to see more of Lunaris in wide environmental shots like this?

Lunaris looks very different in the desert.

Same gown. Same character. Completely different world.

I love seeing how much the environment can change the feeling of a costume. Put her beside waterfalls and she feels enchanted. Put her under a desert sky and suddenly she feels almost mythic.

Which world feels more like Lunaris to you: forest or desert? 🌲🏜️

The front gets all the attention.

But I built Lunaris to be interesting from behind, too.

The cape, the layers, the way the fabric falls all the way to the ground. Those details are part of the silhouette just as much as the bodice is.

A costume should tell you something from every angle.
