I’m now 4158 miles away from this location. Here’s kirkjufell in all of its glory. We waited for the possibility of light hitting the mountain... never did unfortunately. Froze most of my body while waiting in the wet wind. It was too windy to take a long exposure of the sky.. plus the tripod was sitting on snow and ice. Nonetheless, fantastic location that I’d love to visit again in the future!

What do you guys think? A simple shot of the glacier lagoon but so epic. This is a 6 shot pano. Yes, the colors are really this blue! Large chunks of ice that have broken off of the main glacier slowly make their way towards the ocean through a narrow channel. Epic. This is a really decreased quality of the original 200MB file. I am waiting to receive an epic 30x60 metal print of this to hang on the wall in the waiting area at my office! Can’t wait and will definitely post about it once it’s up!
