Today is my Mamaw’s first birthday spent in Heaven. Three months before she passed, our whole family came together, rented a studio, set up a tripod, and took family photos. It was absolute chaos. There were kids running wild, tears, bribes for smiles, you name it, but what I remember most is the joy on Mamaw’s face. Her whole family, all in one room. That moment meant everything to her.

We now treasure those photos, not just for how they look, but for the memories we made while taking them.
