🐾 Update on Rooster!!

As many of you know, I’ve been using my camera to support shelters and rescues, capturing photos of dogs in need. This past Saturday, I had the honor of photographing Rooster at The Animal Shelter of Sullivan County. From the moment I met him, I could see something wasn’t right.
It wasn’t until after the session that I learned the heartbreaking truth: Rooster has serious medical issues that need urgent attention. He’s been living with constant pain, and without surgery, his suffering will continue and get worse.
Rooster has a chance at a happy life, but *he needs our help*. His surgery can put an end to the pain he’s been enduring, but we need your support to make it happen.

This is embarrassing. Yesterday morning, I took pictures of 7 dogs at the The Animal Shelter of Sullivan County, but I ended up with only 6 names. Given, it was early and it was very cold but this has never happened before. Now, I have pictures of one beautiful brindle puppy but no name.

If you like to learn more about the dog without a name, please contact the Sullivan County Animal Shelter, or even better, drive to the shelter and show them the pictures in this post. That'll do the trick.

I love a big furry head, especially if I am allow to rub the head and get some kisses before the photos session. This big boy is Dyl.

He was the first one to have pictures taken this morning at The Animal Shelter of Sullivan County. He was calm and relaxed and enjoyed his time out of the kennel.

Meet Rocko, the brave little soul who doesn’t let the cold stop him from shining! ❄️ This morning, he courageously braved 26-degree temperatures at The Animal Shelter of Sullivan County for a photo session. After a cozy cuddle with his photographer to warm up, Rocko was ready to strike a pose—looking absolutely perfect as he soaked up the winter sun. 🌞

At just 4.5 months, Boone was one of the easiest canine photo models that I have worked with over the last 8 years. This young man is currently in foster care through the Humane Society. The gracious foster is my step daughter Brittany, who already has 3 large dogs at home. And guess what, Boone is getting along splendidly with all of them.
