Happy Mother's Day!

For the moms who show up even when they're tired, hurt or anxious. The ones who push pass their insecurities to light up the fire in their eyes. To the ones who fight society to stand up for how THEY want to raise their children amongst generations who say they know better. For the ones who have a village and use all those tools they're grateful for and also the ones who don't have a village but they're DIYing one brick by brick.

Sometimes it feels impossible. Sometimes you aren't all rainbows and sunshine. But other times you see their smile and think, wow I did that.

That's what today is about.

And I can't let Mother's Day go by without speaking about those who so desperately want to be a mother, but it just hasn't happened yet. I see you, I was you. I want you to know that you are not less than. That you can take today and share your grief in a day that was supposed to be built on joy. I hope next Mother's Day is another story for you.
