I have no shame in admitting that I am actually begging you.

The way this book has consumed my dreams is INSANE and I fear I might not ever recover. That is, until we get the next book in this series. ⏰📚

The plot twists? The romance? The political turmoil? The betrayals? I am unwell and happily addicted.

It’s my fault, I know. Life went like 📈 and my posting schedule went like 📉
As the great Taylor Swift once said: “so it goes” 🤷🏼‍♀️

We did a family vacation and went to of my fav breweries in Texas this past weekend: 🤍
It was hot and I sweat buckets but otherwise quite enjoyed myself.

Now that we’re home, I’ll officially be back to my regularly scheduled programming. Xoxo

Not every book buy can be a win, I know.

IMO, these were all ✨epic✨ failures. It takes a lot for me to fully DNF a book. Usually I persevere and at least try to finish a book, even if I’m not absolutely loving it.

I’m not calling these a “waste of money” though—more like “lessons learned”. 🤷🏼‍♀️

DOES IT AGAIN! Truly am never surprised by how much I enjoy her writing. No matter how hard I try, it is only once in a blue moon where I can figure out the plot twist before it happens.
This was not one of those times.

My bams were boozled for sure.

Hear me out:
I don’t mean that the books in the “no” category or bad. Conversely, they’re actually some of my all-time favorite books.

I just either don’t want to see drool-worthy, occasionally winged fae males on-screen OR if the book was made into a movie, it’d basically be 🌽. NC-17 ratings aren’t the way to go when it comes to what would usually be deemed a “successful movie adaptation.”
I also think there’s beauty and magic in leaving stories to be experienced via each individual reader’s imagination, rather than providing a visual template, if you will, for the characters and the settings. It just leaves so much room for disappointment and I don’t want that for these. 🤍

Regardless, I think plowing through all the physical books staring me down like 👁️👄👁️ while I buy more and more will be real satisfying.

The way & write should be illegal. I was dehydrated while reading this bc I cried out all the water on my body!! 💔 seriously it’s that powerful and compelling of a story. 🙌🏻
