Pistol Annie is her name, and she is the sweetest GSD you'll meet. She spent her earlier years as a search and rescue dog, helping hoomans in need of rescuing. Her momma, Altie, loves her dearly which is clear in their love and trust for one another and have spent many years together.
Even though her years are starting to catch up with her physically, Annie was still giving 100% on our photoshoot and even climbed a tree or two!! (That's my favorite photo 🥰)

Meet Charlotte; A Mixed Terrier who is full of energy, inquisitiveness, joy and enthusiasm. Her hooman Catherine adores her, and I can see why. Charlotte keeps Catherine on her toes as she is always ready to investigate new territory.

Charlotte was like a pocket rocket when we first got into the forest, which made stopping and capturing poses a challenge, but soon after we turned back "to home" she slowed down 😂

I should have related that situation to a 'forward-going horse'
earlier than I did; if your horse is too enthusiastic, turn it back towards home and it suddenly slows down!!

This was a new location for me to shoot (Bryan Park, Richmond VA), so we were both 'investigating', but we found a nice trail and got some good shots.

📷🐶 DAY OF THE DOGS TOMORROW! Excited for my 2 dog shoots, both forest-settings and I'm already excited to see the results.

Looking forward to meeting Pistol Annie, a GSD who's a little on the introverted-side and Charlotte who is a terrier mix and a bit of a wild child!! Luckily they are separate shoots 😜 could've been an interesting day otherwise 🤪

Nothing makes a photoshoot easier than a couple of professional models who work for love! 🐾

I had the absolute pleasure of spending the day with two incredibly well-trained Australian Shepherds 🐶🐶 Their energy and focus made capturing these shots a breeze—it’s amazing what a clear "sit-stay" and a little athleticism can do for a gallery.
