Meet Davis (MBHS).

Davis was one of the most well-mannered young men I’ve had the chance to work with. Polite, respectful, and easy to talk to from the start.

He’s from Alabama, so this session was a little different. We shot during a family hunt out at Horseshoe K Ranch near Kimball, which made for a unique backdrop and experience.

Not your typical senior session, and that’s what made it stand out.

David is easy going, laid back, and just went with whatever we threw at him. Even when something felt a little outside his comfort zone, he trusted the process.

That kind of attitude makes a big difference in a session. It opens the door to shots you wouldn’t get otherwise.

Dalton is the definition of “smiles aren’t cheap.” We had to work a little to get those reactions, but when they showed up, they were real.

He’s big into hunting, and that’s where you could see him relax the most. Once we leaned into that, everything started to click.

Sometimes the best sessions just take a little patience.

Cadence came in relaxed but with a clear idea of what she wanted. It took a little time to warm up, but once she did, the whole session shifted.

By the end, we were having a lot of fun and capturing the kind of moments that actually feel real, not staged.
