Ok i had to get at least one picture posted. It has been so long sense I was behind the camera. I think it is kinda funny this hard tattooed homeless person and then the couple making out in the background. LOL The lighting was awesome. Keep in mind this is like midnight and the only lights were from the shops and clubs in the area. The homeless man saw me taking pictures and asked if I would take his. He actually lost some of his hardcore street smarts as he actually smiled when I had the opportunity to show him the photo through my camera's display. I truly wish I had a way to produce this and give it to him. Although if I had to guess it wasn't the photo that make hims smile. It was that someone thought he was important enough to take a photo of him. So we fist bumped and I went about me adventures as I snapped photo after photo.
So I will take this small moment to promote NickiJphotography. Nickijphotography's motto is everyone deserves to feel and look happy. My very small photography business works on a sliding scale and actually caters to the low income families, veterans, and yes models that are just starting out. I don't make much at all from my photography. But I do it for the emotional paycheck and that makes me a millionaire.

I haven't posted in a little bit. This is from an engagement shoot I did a little while back. The couple is so happy. I was privileged to get their love on the photograph.

I was contacted by Rogue's Gallery a comic book store in Austin, TX. They gave me a whole gambit of dioramas and collector's figures. They wanted me to make scenes to place on their web page. OMG, I had a blast. It can be considered Toy Photography or possibly product photography because all of the figures they have for sale. This is Shuri from Black Panther meeting Lois Lane in the Galaxy Grocery Store. Just a couple of ladies doing their shopping LOL. I LOVE how this turned out ( I have more to come). I am very proud of the lighting. I have the over glow from the lights in the ceiling and the back lighting. Then look at the lighting of food display case behind them. I was able to place a fog and condensation over the "glass" to represent the hot prepped food area. Then to top it off you have the flash reflection off of matte black plastic of Shuri's clothes and Lois Lanes Hat. I placed a very slight blueish green hue over the flash reflection to resemble the bluish color from the old time incontinence bulbs they use to have in the older grocery stores. Yes I put allot of thought into this. The picture was taken with a Helios 44 MM Lens. It is a manual antique Russian Lens. It allowed me to get such a clear foreground but get the amount of distortion in the background. I LOVE IT!!!
