📸 MEN'S MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS PORTRAIT PROJECT
For over a year now, I've wanted to create a project focused on men's mental health.
I've seen countless photography projects and awareness campaigns centered around women, and rightfully so, but I rarely see the same space created for men to share their stories, struggles, and experiences.
It's time.
June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, and I'm finally putting together a free portrait project dedicated to bringing awareness to men's mental health and the challenges that often go unseen.
Too often, men are expected to be strong, push through, provide for others, and carry their burdens in silence. Many are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, addiction, burnout, loss, or the weight of expectations, yet feel like they have nowhere to talk about it.
This project is about changing that.
I'm looking for men from all walks of life to participate. Young or old. Fathers, sons, husbands, veterans, first responders, students, tradesmen, business professionals, artists, and everyone in between. Every story matters.
This is not about being a model. It's not about having the "perfect" story. It's about being real.
My goal is to create a powerful collection of portraits and personal stories that encourage conversation, break stigma, and remind people that they are not alone.
If you are interested in participating, please comment below so we can start a conversation and get this project underway. If you know someone who would be a great fit, feel free to tag them or share this post.
Let's create something meaningful together.
