10/11/2026
Because apparently 2026 wasn't quite finished testing us yet. ❤️
Today, while driving on the New Jersey Turnpike in the pouring rain, I hydroplaned, spun across three lanes of traffic, hit the guardrail, and spun back across three lanes again. Six lanes of traffic, pouring rain, and somehow we didn't hit a single other vehicle. Most importantly, none of us were hurt. Our guardian angels were working overtime today, and I am beyond grateful.
But I also want to take a moment to recognize just how incredibly blessed I am by the people this little photography business has brought into my life.
One of my clients reached out almost immediately after hearing about our accident. Her dad owns a body shop, and without hesitation, she jumped in to help arrange getting my car towed and taken care of.
And it reminded me of something I've felt so deeply throughout this entire year.
My clients are so much more than clients.
Since losing our home in December, so many of you have checked on us, prayed for us, offered help, followed our rebuilding journey, and supported my family in ways that go so far beyond booking a photography session.
You have shown up for us during some of the hardest moments of our lives, and I don't think I could ever adequately put into words what that means to me.
I started this business because I love capturing memories for families. I never imagined how many incredible people it would bring into my own life.
So tonight, I'm counting my blessings. We are safe, we are together, and we are surrounded by some truly amazing people.
Thank you for supporting my business, but even more importantly, thank you for loving and supporting my family. I am blessed beyond words. ❤️
