Back in September I was on my way home and almost rear-ended a car that slammed on their brakes out of nowhere. Luckily I had my camera because this eagle just a few feet off the road was what caught their attention!

I decided to wake up at 4 AM to make the drive to Palisade Head on Wednesday. After trudging through the snow to the overlook I was able to get a great view of the sea smoke and the sunrise before the clouds and snow rolled in!

100% worth getting up at 4:30 AM and jump-starting my car when it was -40 outside to drive to Duluth and catch the sunrise on Valentine's day.
