Sometimes it’s hard to see past the struggle, the waiting, the not knowing when it’ll happen. But then you hold them in your arms for the first time and all that fear and doubt fades away and you know that it was all worth it in the end.

I knew there had been a lot but I had to go back and count them. EIGHT!!! This was our 8th yearly family session together. To be invited back by a family is always such an honor that I never take for granted. There is something very special about getting to see your kids grow up. Not to age myself 😆 but I love how many families I’ve photographed with babies and toddlers and now we are entering pr***en and teenage years!

When you get 360 days of sunshine a year, you get pretty excited when some clouds show up! Usually, I get sunsets like this when I’m walking out of Walmart, we were pretty excited when the light kept getting better and better.

Music, wrestling, aviation. There wasn’t a lack of passions to capture for this senior session! I was so blessed to have had the chance to visit our longtime friends in Colorado and capture this important chapter for them.

We’ve had a lot of rain at the right time of year so fingers and toes crossed we’ll be seeing some wildflowers this year! I can’t believe how green it’s become already. Here’s hoping we get a few more showers to seal the deal!
