Has anyone else stopped to ask to use someone's private property?? 👋

This was a property in Michigan, but sometimes I drive past properties in Washington and think wow these would make great photos!! 😆

Over 12,000 memories flying back to Washington! 🥹🤍

Michigan, thank you SO much to everyone who booked a session with me while I was home! It was so much fun seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. My heart is full, and now I have lots of sweet memories to sort through! So grateful for every single one of you! 🫶🏻

Which one should be my cover photo on my Instagram post? 🫣 I can't decide!

Wishing these two a beautiful marriage together!!! Congratulations you two 🤍

For my Michigan clients!!

Seriously thank you to everyone who booked with me here in Michigan. I have been looking back at each session and I am just SO excited to get editing these when I get back and send your galleries 🥹!! I felt a creative spark with each and every one of you. It's been so much fun so far and I still have 4 sessions to go!!!

Also reminder, I don't post an editing queue or send sneak peeks anymore, but expect your gallery 3 weeks from your session date per the contract you signed. It will be a nice surprise if I get it done earlier!! 🥰😉

I have galleries from Washington and Michigan to work through hence the timeline being extended. I don't like to rush my work as I hand select and edit each image carefully, so thank you in advance for all your patience!!

Lots of great inspo I have saved here, specifically...

"What photographers want you to avoid when choosing outfits"

This video explains everything I always tell my clients!!

AVOID these things:
●Neon colors & loud prints
●Distracting logos
●Matching outfits (have everyone wear a different color from a complimentary color palette instead) pjs are cute but if you guys are wearing the same outfit you start blending in with each other. There's no visual interest!!
●Distracting shoes
●And honestly a lot of photographers don't like bright red and stark white. But it just depends on the editing style and knowing how to set your camera settings for those colors!

You’re not behind, mama
🤍
Your babies don’t need the perfect outfits, the perfect season, or for life to feel less chaotic first.

Book the session. Document them exactly as they are right now and especially get in the photos too!

Because somehow, “right now” becomes “remember when” way too fast. 🥹
