Why would anyone want to kill and eat this beautiful animal? :(

I have personally seen these gorgeous animals sit in the trees of Madagascar, peacefully foraging for food and communicating with others with a call that almost sounds like a whale. They are very unique and it would be a loss if they were hunted to extinction.
