This girl showed up as completely, unapologetically HERSELF… and I loved every second of it. 🤎

Cowboy boots under her long skirt. Overalls. Cartwheels.

So much personality.

So much laughter.

We chose a location that felt a little different because I knew Laila needed something that felt like her…and goodness, did she bring it to life.

And honestly, the childhood photo of her rocking that cheetah print tells you everything you need to know. 😂

She has clearly always had that little extra spark.

Laila is fun and lively and absolutely gorgeous… but it’s her light that gets you.

It shines SO bright.

We laughed through this entire session, and I had the absolute best time with her.

Laila, never stop showing up exactly as you are. It looks so beautiful on you. ✨

Oh, Remy. 😍 She absolutely KILLED her senior session.

She’s a lacrosse player, she’s on the dance team, and she is an absolute beauty. Add in the most gorgeous evening and that dreamy golden sun…just stunning. ✨

I photographed her older brother’s senior pictures last year, so getting the call from Mom to come back and photograph Remy truly meant so much to me. What an honor it is when a family trusts me again to capture another one of their kids during one of life’s biggest milestones. I never take that for granted.

This session was amazing from beginning to end. Remy, you made my job way too easy! 🤍

I love photographing seniors. I love getting to know them, hearing about their plans, and capturing who they are during such an exciting season of life.

But boy, do I especially love when I get to photograph the sibling of a past senior client. 🥹 There is something so special about a family coming back and trusting me all over again. It truly is one of the greatest compliments… and such an honor. Thank you, Heather. 🥹

I absolutely loved meeting Addison and spending the evening with her. She is sweet, beautiful, easygoing… and a three-sport athlete! Clearly, she is no stranger to hard work, dedication, and a very full schedule.

A little sneak peek from Carter’s senior session!

This guy made my job way too easy. So laid-back, such a great smile, and somehow made every single spot work.

There is something so incredibly special about being invited back into a family’s story. 🤍

I photographed this sweet family last year, and this year they reached out because their family had grown by one tiny, perfect addition. And gosh… what an honor that is.

One of my favorite parts of this job is watching families grow right in front of my camera. New babies. Bigger siblings. Changing seasons. All of those little pieces of life that happen so quickly… and getting to document them year after year never gets old.

This session was even more special because we headed back to The Abbey Resort in Fontana… the place where Mom and Dad got married. 🥹 From wedding day to a family of four, back in the very same place making a whole new set of memories.

THIS is why I love what I do. The photos are beautiful, of course. But the story behind them? That’s the good stuff. 🤍

There’s something extra special about getting to photograph someone you’ve known since… forever!! 🥹

Rachel is an absolute rockstar realtor, and I’ve had the privilege of photographing her more than once as her business has grown and evolved. This time we were due for some fresh headshots and branding images, and COME ON. 🔥

But one of my favorite parts of this job has always been that it lets me be part of people’s lives. I get to watch businesses grow, families change, new chapters begin… and then somehow I get invited back to document the next version.

And with Rachel, there have been a whole lot of versions between high school and now. 😂❤️

Watching her continue to grow in her business, her life and her family… and getting to cheer her on and photograph her along the way is just really freaking cool.

Every time I photograph multiple generations together, I leave feeling the exact same way…

These matter.

Not because everyone is perfectly coordinated.
Not because every child smiled at the same time.
Not because everything went according to plan. (Spoiler: it never does. 😂)

They matter because time keeps moving.

Babies grow.
Grandkids get taller.
Parents become grandparents.
And someday, these photos become the ones everyone treasures.

Some moms deserve a standing ovation… Brenda is one of them.

She dropped her husband off at the airport to head back on deployment… then came straight to our session with these two beautiful girls.

No complaining. No “poor me.” Just loving on her babies like she always does.

I honestly don’t know how military spouses do it. They keep life moving, raise incredible kids, hold everything together, and somehow still show up with a smile.

Brenda, you’re the real deal. Your girls are lucky to call you Mom, and I feel pretty lucky to call you my friend. 🥹😭

Every senior session I tell myself, “Don’t cry. You’re the photographer. Be professional.”

Then we do the mom photos…

…and suddenly I’m one hug away from needing waterproof mascara. 😭😂

As a mom of four, these get me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
