In honor of my husband's grandma Edith turning 106 on May 1st, I am finally sharing some images I took of her and her girls a few years ago. She is such a beautiful woman! She remembers the great depression, worked in a peach factory when her husband faught in WWII, and recalls when the zipper was invented! Her generation is called "The best" for many reasons, and she fits that title well. Happy Birthday Grammy Amaral! We love you!

Last month we took a large family trip to Cabo San Lucas with my mother. Here is our big happy family in Mexico together. I do love the final product! I love my family.

Last week Jacob and Ashlyn were officially married and I want to say, "CONGRATULATIONS!" I took their engagement photos this Summer and they are so cute and were so fun to work with! (I am finally posting a few of their pictures from the session and I have lots of other photos to post soon!)

How cool would a man in love be, who decided to contact a photographer he had never met, scheme with her on a surprise engagement next to a beautiful waterfall they researched together to find, and then discretely text her all morning to make sure they arrived at the waterfall close to the same time.... all to SURPRISE his girlfriend with a sweet porosal (and gorgeous ring I might add)??

Very cool, creative, fun, and thoughtful! Sorry, this guy is taken officially now ladies, but give him a high five 🙌 for all the creativity and adventure!! 🥰 I'm so happy I cut out time for this cute couple and wild idea. 😁😁😁

It was very special for me to photograph my very good friend and her beautiful family. Some things are too sweet for words. Family portraits make my heart so happy, especially when they turn out so lovely and with lots of great smiles!

Summer is a beautiful time for family photos! We were lucky to have a fuzzy blanket of cotton on the ground for a unique look as well. Cute little family, bright airy light, lovely green trees, soft white ground....I love how it all came together so well!
