Meet Allie. The behind Senior Services (and now, !) Allie and I have some FUN things coming up later in April 👀, but that's not what this post is about. This post is about another local Boss Babe, who Moms hard, works hard, and has THE kindest soul! 😉
I met Allie this fall when she reached out to me for her branding photo shoot for her business. If you are "of Millennial-age status," you have probably either experienced a parent or grandparent, or have a friend who has had a parent or grandparent needing some extra care, whether it be home care or assisted living placements.👵 Up until just a few years ago, the world was pretty unprepared for the Baby Boomer generation to age, and, well, sons and daughters were kind of at a loss for what to do when the time came. 😟 Allie steps in and provides caring assistance in finding the right Senior Living option for your family member. And best of all, most of her services will be FREE for your family!
When we were photographing📸, she was sharing her excitement for her newest vision: a community space where intergenerational members can come together and hang - whether it be for crafts, book clubs, small gatherings and parties, community events, etc. She wanted it to be like a little village, where grandparent-aged citizens mingle with the younger generations under the same roof. Her only disappointment was that she was having trouble finding a space that fit her vision. Fast-forward just a few months later, and lo-and-behold, she FOUND it! The Village was BORN! Talk about BOSS! (and then I HAD to go photograph her new space for her!)
She's been working hard to bring together multi-generational groups for fun activities, so go check out The Village 🏡 and see what she has planned for this month. Spoiler alert: if you've made it this far, you can just go ahead and save the date for April 26th, when we will be teaming up for a day of Generational Portraits just in time for Mother's Day.
