Sending all the best wishes and positivity to Ezra Caudell, who according to the team’s latest statement, is still receiving hospital care for multi-system trauma following a crash during the race in Philadelphia on Sunday.
The day before the Philadelphia Cycling Classic, Modern Adventure Pro Cycling Team hosted a ride with the public and I had the pleasure of chatting with Ezra for 5-10 minutes during the ride. He seems like a great kid and was immediately someone I wanted to root for. I was rooting for him during the race and even more so now. This is a scary sport and I give the utmost respect to those who take the dangerous risks involved in pursuing their passion at the highest level. Thankfully Philadelphia has some of the best doctors in the world and I speak on behalf of the whole Philadelphia cycling community when I say we wish you a speedy recovery and lasting health moving forward.
