USDF Bronze medal 2024 ���
Pictured first is Beau � he and I had the opportunity to team up for my first and second level scores. It took us sometime to really get into a rhythm but once we did we were quite the pair! He is such a super horse and taught me so much on how to really help develop my feel as a trainer.
Thank you to not just my trainer at the time who saw our potential and helped us tremendously, but also to the owner that trusted me to be apart of Beau’s journey as well! Not only was I able to show him for my own scores but it was his chance to go up a level for his 2nd level debut � as trainers, there is nothing more gratifying than successfully doing something new and challenging.
That’s what I love about showing! It is the chance to put all the time, work, and dedication together to show off the partnership that has been carefully developed in private practice. Of course scores and medals are amazing, but secondary to the bond and harmony we are building with our 1,000ibs dance partners ��
And of course for my third level scores we have Dawson’s Creek aka D.C. �
I was able to return to my school Houghton University Equestrian Program for a summer where I was able to start teaching again, now equipped with the knowledge and experience that the last few years have brought me. Which also brought me the opportunity put my skills to the test, with only two weeks to prepare with a new horse and myself moving up a level the pressure was on!
I absolutely could not have done it without the support and help from my lovely professors/ trainers in this program! Your belief in me over the years has truly helped me grow in ways I never imagined! I couldn’t have picked a better time or place to officially earn my medal than back at school with the people who helped cultivate my passion!
Thank you to everyone who played a role in helping me pursue my goals and gave me the chance to grow in my riding and training. Your part in my journey will stick with me and will be ever present in my own teaching and training ���
