Evan had Homecoming over the weekend and I just can’t get over how much he has grown into a young man. 🥹 Hard to believe we’re already passing high school milestones. He and a couple friends got together before the dance to hang out, eat and grab photos…the sun goes down so early that I went ahead and got a few at home before we headed out. Still peak fall in my backyard! 🍁🍂

On our trip to Texas to see the total eclipse last month, I wanted to take advantage of the bluebonnets being in season! Closest field recommended was this one, which turned out to be mostly Indian paintbrushes. 😆 This was our final evening and the forecast did not clear up as promised, so with it being sprinkling and chilly, we grabbed these portraits of my sister-in-law’s family in about 10 minutes. 🧡💙

Spent the whole week before Halloween making these Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costumes for my boys. Lots of hot glue, sharp blades, paint and stitching. I envisioned a bit more of a pizza party for the turtles but they were anxious to get on to the trick-or-treating!
