A few years ago, we photographed Judah + Meagan’s wedding, and from the very beginning there was just something special about being around them. The kind of connection that makes you forget you’re “working” because you’re simply witnessing people love each other well.

A few weeks ago we got to photograph the next chapter as they prepare to welcome their baby into the world, and honestly… sessions like this breathe life back into everything we do. ✨

There’s something beautiful about photographing people who are genuinely beautiful on the inside and out. The way they care for each other, laugh together, and simply exist together makes every image feel effortless and alive.

And let’s be real… this baby already won the genetic lottery. 🤍

Today is the last day of my daughter’s high school career.

This morning, Lindsey and I prayed for her, and while we did, I had this picture in my head. For the last four years it was like there had been a banner hanging over her life, but it was written on a dry erase board. Different words. Different labels. Some from life, some from insecurity, some from other people. And over time it all kept getting erased and rewritten.

Then God showed me that dry erase board being torn down completely and replaced with something carved in stone.

And written on it were the words:
Well done.

The second I said it out loud, I started crying.

Because honestly… I’m so grateful I got to grow in God with you. To watch you become confident in ways I never was as a kid. You’ve become the kind of person I wish I could’ve been at your age.

And I think maybe part of what God has been teaching me all these years is how to raise you and love you the way I needed when I was younger.

My daughter is standing on the edge of so many beautiful things. I’ve watched her mature, grow in her faith, find a good man, and honestly become a better version of herself at this age than I ever knew how to be.

I love you, Som Som ..More than words can hold. ❤️

Love Kissed by the Sun ☀️

A few weeks back on a Wednesday, I took Andrew + Allison to Breaker Breaker in Atlanta, then we just wandered the city together. We found graffiti-covered walls, weird little corners, good light, and honestly… a whole lot of laughter.

I love couples that embrace different. The slightly weird ones. The ones that don’t mind getting a little lost and turning a random stroll into an adventure.

That’s usually where the best moments come from anyway.

And then golden hour decided to show up and say hello like it knew we were waiting for it. ✨

A Georgia Tech Love Adventure

There’s something really poetic about photographing two people in the middle of a place built for big dreams. Between the brick walls, busy sidewalks, and the glow of downtown Atlanta just around the corner, Thomas + Carly somehow made Georgia Tech feel quiet for a moment. Like the rest of the world faded into the background and it was just them. 🧡

Their session honestly felt less like a photoshoot and more like tagging along on one of their favorite dates. Lots of laughing. Lots of leaning into each other. The kind of connection that doesn’t need to be forced because it already exists in every little glance and smile.

And somehow, even surrounded by students, traffic, and campus chaos, they made the whole city feel soft.

We wandered around campus chasing good light, finding little pockets of calm between the architecture and movement that makes Georgia Tech feel so alive. It was the perfect mix of classy, carefree, and completely them.

So this morning I’ve decided to finally admit something I’ve loved for a long time…

I love photographing people with tattoos.

Because it’s never just ink.
It’s a story someone decided was worth carrying on their skin.

Yeah… some of them are wild.
Some don’t make sense right away.
Some might even make people uncomfortable.

But every time I slow down and actually listen… I’m blown away.
By the honesty.
By the life behind it.

And if I’m being real… photographing it gives me a creative dopamine hit that’s hard to come down from.

These are the people I truly want to photograph.

I’m looking for five people this month.
