Still working on the Gallery from Hunt County Raceway from Last night. But here's a couple of images that I think came out really well.

They're of the same car, but noticeably different shutter speeds. The idea is to demonstrate the unique qualities of a slower shutter speed.

Notice the background in both images. One is considerably more blurry than the other. I'm a big fan of slower shutter speeds that can amplify the effect of motion.

I'm expecting to have the latest gallery posted sometime tomorrow.

Quick update.. my gallery from Friday night's races at Hunt County Raceway didn't fully upload last night. I have updated it with another 150 or so images. It is now updated.

When shooting racing, I'm a big fan of panning shots. When it is dark out, it's one of the techniques I like to avoid needing a flash. But more importantly, I think it really emphasizes the action on the track in a static image.
