For the past 12 months, my girl has been completely consumed by the Navarro College LVN program. Countless late nights, moments she wasn't sure she'd make it, and more "no's" to plans than I can count. All because she refused to give up on her dream.

In just two short weeks, I'll finally have her back.

To say I'm proud of her would be an understatement.

Years ago, she made up her mind that somehow, some way, she was going to make it into the medical field. And now, here she is, proving to herself that she could.

If you knew how hard she's worked, you'd be just as proud of her as I am. When I talk about her and everything she's accomplished, know that I also know the stress she carried, the sleepless nights, the texts when she wanted to quit, and just how badly she wanted this.

Watching someone you love chase a dream is one thing. Watching them refuse to quit until they catch it is something I'll never stop admiring.

Two more weeks. You've got this, and I couldn't be prouder.
