There’s so many clichés in photography, but the one that holds the most truth for me is probably the one about capturing a moment in time forever. It’s silly, and overused…but true.
It’s true that time is a thief, it’s true that you look over at your child and realize his clothes are WAY too small, it’s true that they go from riding their bike down the street to driving the car to their friend’s house in a blink.
So why are photos NOW so very important?
Because one day, your going to walk down the hallway picking up their backpack and 10 pairs of shoes while your eye twitches because you’re that level of tired that only comes from a never ending to do list, back to back practice, carpool, and having no idea what’s for dinner, and you’re going to see their sweet face in a frame on the wall.
And you’re going to feel your heart get a little lighter and you’re going to exhale. You exhale for everything you love about the face in the frame.🤍
