Adopting a senior dog is one of the most selfless and most rewarding decisions a family can make.
When Harley was adopted at 9 years old, he must have known he had just hit the jackpot. He spent the next 6 years living his very best life, surrounded by a family who loved him endlessly.
I’ve had the joy of watching Harley and Nova for several years, and Harley truly lived a full, happy life. He wasn’t a pet, he was family.
Last week, I had the honor of helping check something off Harley’s bucket list, a family photoshoot. While sessions like these can carry a little sadness, they are also filled with so much love. Being able to capture these moments before it was time to say goodbye was truly an honor.
Harley has since crossed the rainbow bridge, but the love he shared with his family will live on forever.
