Taking a break from weddings and sharing how much I am in loveeeee with these athletic studio shots!!!

The last time I did this was when I was in high school. I’ve always loved doing them and I’m so stoked to get these up and running again. It was so fun creating in the studio and I’m excited to do more like this through my slower winter season!

That being said, seniors: if you want your dual senior package to include a lifestyle session and athletic/ studio photos in place of a second outdoor seasonal session let me know! Applies to those who have already booked too.

You can always do a studio or sports shoot independently as well xx.

Closed out my 2024 wedding season with Erin and Andrew’s beautiful intimate winter wedding this past weekend.

It was so awesome to see them in their own cozy environment at where they got ready before we headed down to for their indoor ceremony and reception 🤍

Going to enjoy working on these beautiful photos. Then I’ve got an announcement in the makings for some projects and the direction I’m taking my wedding photography come spring. Stay tuned!

Erin and Andrew are getting married this week and I’m so happy for them!

They are one of the few couples I’ve photographed that also run their own business 24/7, in Dover, Vermont.

Walking through the woods with them was special, not just because it was their engagement session but because it was a sliver of time where they could step away from the inn that they pour their hearts and souls into and do something else they love, which is spending time outdoors with their pup, Remy.

I know how hard it is to find time to do something just for yourself when you are equally passionate about your work so I’m so glad I got to capture these moments for them.

I’m so excited to be with them again to capture their wedding day where they get to spend an ENTIRE day celebrating their love and all they’ve built together.

I also heard there may be a s’mores fire pit at the end of the night and if that doesn’t sound like the most perfect and delicious way to celebrate your marriage in the hills of Vermont in November, surrounded by your family and friends I don’t know what does.

Not saying much yet which is really hard because I’m nervous and excited (mostly because I just hope this turns out good) but it’s official - sneak peek from what went down tonight and what’s to come 📷 🎥

First time filming so I’ll have a lot to work on after I finish all the beautiful galleries I still have in my editing queue but having a personal project to tend to as the months get colder gives me so much lifeeeee.

Thank you for asking me for a black and white edit of a few photos from your engagement session that you love!

Thank you for not doing your own black and white edit.

Why?

Three reasons. Two are just reasons that honestly just make me feel happy but the first reason is seriously, truly, an important reason.

Reason one — converting a photo to black and white is not as simple as just converting a photo to black and white. When I’m able to edit the original RAW photo, you will get a version that is so much better.

You get the original size meaning you can enlarge the photo however big you want without quality loss and the highlights and shadows are balanced whereas just doing it yourself will lose quality big time and just won’t look the same.

Reason two — I get to hear a little more about plans for your wedding which is so exciting and I love hearing how things are coming together before we meet again for your big day!!

Reason three — I love seeing which photos YOU love from your session and I love looking at your photos all over again!

I’m already so excited for this wedding next fall!!
