I attended Penn State for college, and then I moved to northern Virginia for a job in Washington, DC in 2008. The busy-ness of the city exhausted me, so I pursued a job in West Virginia and finally moved out to the country in 2015! I'm so lucky to have my wonderful husband, Andrew, who consistently supports me, my dreams, and my love of photography! We have three sweet (and a little crazy) dogs an
d one silly cat who keep us busy. When we have a free weekend, we love hiking, doing mud runs and obstacle races, and going on adventures! I LOVE photography - it's a job that I enjoy and it never feels like work to me! I enjoy all kinds of photography, but engagements and weddings are my favorite! I’ll travel to your location of choice for your engagement session and wedding day and I’ll provide some direction; however, I encourage fun, candid photos to capture your true spirit. I love being behind the camera and capturing magical moments for those celebrating special occasions… and what’s better than celebrating love?! Not only do I understand being on a tight budget and try to accommodate when I can, but I genuinely enjoy connecting with my clients and becoming friends! Having a good connection with my customers allows me to better understand their photography needs and helps me to create photos they love. I love capturing a moment that strikes a specific emotion. Whether it's a moment that takes your breath away or brings a tear to your eye, I love being able to capture a cherished moment that holds your gaze just a little bit longer. My favorite part of photography is when I give my customers their photos. I get so excited about the final photos after it all comes together, and I can't wait to share them with those for whom they were taken!
