Family photos don’t have to feel stiff or overly posed. 🤍

I always like to get a few classic, posed photos that you’ll love hanging on the wall, but then we have some fun with it! Playing airplane with mama, tickling the baby, snuggling close, making each other laugh, and letting everyone just be themselves.

Those in-between moments are often my favorites because they capture your family exactly as you are right now. The personalities, the giggles, the little quirks, and all the love in between.

A mix of beautiful portraits + genuine moments is my favorite way to photograph your family. ✨

This beautiful wedding day was such a good reminder that your wedding timeline should leave room to breathe. 🤍

One of my favorite things to build into a wedding day is almost an hour of uninterrupted time with the bride and groom for newlywed portraits. Not because we need an hour to take a million photos, but because it gives us time to slow down, enjoy the moment, and actually be present together.

A lot of couples book an 8-hour photography package and think that means they have plenty of time, but the number of hours you book doesn’t always mean you have downtime built into your timeline.

My pro tip? Give yourself more time than you think you need. Leave space between events, don’t rush from one photo to the next, and protect time for just the two of you.

The little moments, the deep breaths, the laughter, and the time you get to simply enjoy being newlyweds are just as important as everything else happening throughout your wedding day.

Your wedding day should feel like a celebration, not a race.

I loved getting to learn more about this incredible nonprofit and the work they’re doing in our community. From professional headshots and team photos to capturing all the candid moments from their murder mystery dinner, it was such a fun evening to be part of.

I always love getting to step into these events, learn more about the people behind the organization, and document the moments that make the evening special.
