Happy World Photography Day 📸
What started as a camera and a dream has turned into hundreds of people, stories, milestones, celebrations, and moments I've had the privilege of documenting. Somewhere along the way, photography became so much more than a job—it became a front-row seat to so many pieces of people's lives.
I've photographed babies taking their very first breaths and families welcoming someone new. I've watched little ones grow through milestone sessions, photographed seniors standing on the edge of an entirely new chapter, couples wildly in love, families embracing the beautiful chaos, and generations gathered together.
I've photographed celebrations, events and moments people spent months dreaming about. I've had businesses trust me with their brands, professionals step in front of my camera for headshots, and people allow me to capture pieces of themselves and their stories.
And somewhere between all of those sessions, photography taught me something:
The moments that feel ordinary today won't always be ordinary.
The tiny hands won't stay tiny. The senior will graduate. The business will grow. Families will change. New chapters will begin. People will come and go. And life will keep moving—usually much faster than we'd like it to.
But photographs give us something to hold onto.
To every family, couple, mama, senior, business owner, newborn, graduate, and sweet soul who has stepped in front of my camera or trusted me to document something important—thank you!
Thank you for trusting me with your businesses, your milestones, your celebrations, your growing families, your beginnings, and all of the beautiful in-between.
What started with simply picking up a camera has given me the privilege of documenting hundreds of stories, and I will never take that for granted.
Take the picture. Get in the frame. Document the ordinary. Celebrate the milestones.
Because someday, these photographs will remind us exactly what this season of life felt like. 🤍
