Sharing some sad news to everyone
I have some sad news to share with all of you amazing Delusional fans out there!
I have been battling with a chronic illness and over the past year, it has gotten harder to keep up with. Creating unique and personal works of art that truly captures my clients' souls has been keeping me going on the tough days, but unfortunately, it has been costing me more suffering than I can manage right now.
As of April 1st this year, I will be closing the studio and pulling back to book only a few weddings each year, and retiring my portrait work I love so much. This has been one of the hardest decisions I have had to make, and I still don't know if it is the right one, but I do know that I can't continue the way I currently am.
Since March is my birthday month, and also the month I held my grand opening, I want this March to go out with a bang! From now until we close, you have the opportunity to book $500 all inclusive sessions. I want to be sure everyone has the chance to grab some Delusional Portraits while I can still shoot them.
I will continue to work as a ghost editor for those in need of photo retouching, and if my health allows, I would like to do a few portraits a year, because I don't think my heart can give them up completely.
I want to thank all of you loyal fans who allowed me to turn my passion into a thriving business over the last 12 years. I have traveled the country booking out portraits on my Magic Tour and captured those first kisses at destination weddings in so many different states. I have met some beautiful souls and made amazing friends along the way.
Thank you for accepting me and my work into your lives, and please continue to support my wedding venture as I transition my life and career to better fit my health needs.
If you have made it this far (sorry it is so long and a little sappy), I would love to know what your favorite photo of mine is for you! Drop me a note, let me know if my work has touched your life in some way
