Call me crazy…. But my absolute FAVORITE types of detail photos are the in-action ones 🥹

Getting to see all of the guests actually enjoy each piece of the wedding day just brings me so much joy!!!

Yes - we absolutely could have just propped these up and snapped a more curated photo. It absolutely would have captured the detail of the wedding newspaper just fine.

But there’s just something so much more special about getting to capture these details that my couple spent so much time & energy on actually in a way that feels so real and natural. 👏🏻

Side note - it’s been weeks and I’m still obsessing over these table cloths bc the colors were just insane!!! 🤤

It’s family session season and I’m loving every minute of it ✨

This is a perfect example of how sessions can sometimes FEEL a little crazy, especially with toddlers running around. But as a photographer, I LOOOVE IT! 👏🏻

Letting the kids be kids and allowing them the freedom to be a little crazy at times helps me get the most perfect laughs and giggles that you’ll cherish forever 🥹

After a long day of formalities - it’s so much fun to get to watch my couples let loose and make lasting memories with all of their favorite people!!! 🙂

What a DREAM of a wedding 🤍

I cannot express how grateful I am that Graciela & Jonathan trusted me to capture their incredible destination wedding!

This wedding was proof that being surrounded by your closest family and friends creates the most incredible wedding day environment. With the guest list being under 100 people, I really got to immerse myself in the day and had the opportunity to connect with every single guest. 🥹

I know it can be tough to have a small guest list, and you may be nervous about the wedding feeling “bare” - but in my experience, the intimate wedding settings are the most personable & help your guests feel so comfortable!

As much as I wish I could take on 100 wedding days a year - this mama is TIRED. 🥲

With a new little one on the way, I am choosing to be super intentional with my time and energy as we approach the 2025 wedding season.

Weddings in this Texas summer heat are NO JOKE.... so when I walked outside this day and felt the 90% humitidy and 95 degree weather, I knew we needed to keep this stunning bride indoors as long as possible before the ceremony started! ☀️

So we found the ONE spot in the venue that wasn’t filled with people and decor and MADE 👏🏻 IT 👏🏻HAPPEN.

All of this is to just say - don’t let this Texas weather scare you!

Through the rain and the heat and even the occasional freeze, your vendor team is always going to do whatever it takes to give you the wedding day of your dreams. ✨

I got to wrap up the 2023 wedding season with the sweetest couple at the most stunning venue with the most incredible vendor team 👏🏻🤩

Weddings like this one remind me of the reasons why I love what I do. Getting to watch people who are so in love as they celebrate with everyone they cherish is truly such an incredible experience. 🥹

10/10 recommend finding couples like Jordyn + Aaron because every part of this day was a DREAM and I’m already wishing we could do it all over again!!!

Reminiscing on one of my favorite wedding days at one of my all time favorite venues 🤩

Fun Fact: I was a little anxious about this one because it was my first full wedding day after having my daughter, but as soon as I pulled up to this venue, all of that anxiousness turned into excitement 🤩

Plus, Jess + Loren are TRULY some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. They trusted me fully throughout the entire wedding day and I am forever grateful for such perfect clients 🥹

So this is a friendly reminder to hire vendors that you REALLY trust, and then let them do their thing. We will create and capture all of the magic while you party the night away with the love of your life 🤍
