Hello everyone! I have two important announcements.

First, I want to say THANK YOU to all of you who have supported and continue to support me and my business. You truly don’t know how much that means to me and my family.

- IMPORTANT: I wanted to make this post to pin to the top of my page because I am changing my website domain and keeping it off my Facebook business page. I have several families who ask that their images not be shared anywhere, and new changes on FB could allow unauthorized access to my personal business website. Your privacy is my priority, and I want to add as many layers of protection around your family’s photos as possible.

- On an exciting note, I am so happy to introduce a new photographer who will be working closely with me! Friends!! I'm so blessed to already be busy this fall season. Right now, more than ever, I'm grateful that I get to be a part of your moments. In every session, I do my best to create memories within the photos I take. Once I get your family posed, I'll take the typical "look and smile" photo, and then I'll give you a prompt. When you look back at those prompted photos, you'll remember the actual moment they were taken, including who you were with and the emotions you felt with your loved ones. I'm here for you, in the moment.

With a studio maternity session, we don't have to worry about sweating, walking far, planning bathroom breaks, or the humidity.

You're already carrying around a lot... literally. The last thing you need during a maternity session is trudging through a field in this heat or worrying about where the nearest bathroom is. In my studio, it's climate controlled, everything's close, and you can take breaks whenever you need to.

I remember being a new mom in my postpartum room. Everything was a blur.

I had to physically go back into the hospital because I didn't know how to get my newborn to latch properly. I didn't have a hot meal for months. I was running on no sleep. There was no way I could rely on my memory to capture these moments.

When you book a hospital Fresh 48 session with me, I'll worry about the details and the photos. All you have to do is let me know your room number.

Some of my favorite shots from every wedding aren't the posed ones. They're the laugh right after, the look you give each other when you think no one's watching.

You don't have to know how to "be photographed." That's my job 🤍

Can we talk about what you're really paying for with a newborn session? Because it's more than "someone shows up and takes pictures."

Before we even get to your session, there's planning where we are figuring out timing around your due date, staying flexible if baby comes early or late (because babies don't care about calendars), and making sure everything's ready to go whenever you are.

Then on the actual day, it's props and outfits (all provided, you don't lift a finger), your choice of in-home or studio, and a lot of patience. Newborns don't really take direction, so a lot of what you're paying for is someone who knows how to work around feedings, meltdowns, and naps without rushing you, your other children, or your baby.

Your package includes a set number of digital images, and if you fall in love with more than that, extra ones are available too.
And your siblings and pets? Always included at no extra charge because that big brother staring at his new sister or the dog who won't leave the baby's side is part of your story too.

A newborn session starts at $375. And no matter what, I will always be someone who cares about getting it right for your family 🤍

I'm always asked whether including family is extra, and the answer is never. I remember scheduling my own newborn photos, and it was important to me to have those photos together as a family, and that's the opportunity I like to pass on to my sessions.
It isn't required, but it is happily an option.
